                           world renowned Polish pianist 
      Saturday, 20^th - Gala Concert of the Winners & Awarding Ceremony

AGE CATEGORIES

5^th Kuwaiti Chopin Competition :
      *1^st Group - up to 8 years 
      *2^nd Group - to 12 years 
      *3^rd Group - to 16 years 
      *4^th Group - over 16 year (March 12^th, 2010 is the turning date)

1^st Gulf Chopin Competition:
      *1^st Group up to 12 years 
      *2^nd Group over 12 years

ENTRY DATE March 1^st, 2010 
FEES: up to countries' regulations 
PROGRAM
1^st Stage - 2 piano pieces 
2^nd Stage - 2 piano pieces (one would be repeated from the 1^st Stage)

Timing 
1^st Stage - up to 10 minutes 
2^nd Stage - up to 15 minutes

Repertoire advises 
Up to 12 years Group piano Chopin piece (original version or transcription) is appreciated but not obligatory. Over 12 years Group one of Chopin works is obligatory. (Diversification is appreciated.)

The Jury panel recommends the Winners to the 
INTERNATIONAL FINALS

The Main Adjudicator with The Jury nominate The Winners & recommend them to the Gala Concert.
