Gdynia, Poland. Also co-works with Musical Theatre in Lublin.
In 2010 she created part of

in
“Rusalka” by A.
Dvořák
during XIX
International Opera Festival
in Bydgoszcz, Poland, 2012. Performed as Laura in
"La Gioconda" by A. Ponchielli, which inaugurated the
XVII International Opera Festival
in Bydgoszcz, Poland. In 2008 she appeared in the main part of
Hansel in the "Hansel und Gretel"
by E. Humperdinck, which inaugurated the
XV International Opera Festival in Bydgoszcz, Poland. She performed
the 3rd Dame in W. A. Mozart's
"Die Zauberflute" , Rinaldo in G.
F. Handel’s “Rinaldo”,
Jadwiga
in “Haunted Manor” by St. Moniuszko in Opera
Nova, Bydgoszcz, Poland. In Lublin Musical Theatre she appeared as
Count Orlovsky in “Die Fledermaus”
by J. Strauss, as well as Mercedes
in “Carmen” by G. Bizet.
Since 2010 she performed the main part of
Izabela Lecka in pre-premiere of
the musical "Lalka" ("The Doll") based on polish classical novel by B. Prus
in Musical Theatre in Gdynia. Darina appeared as
Lady of the Lake in pre-premiere
Monty Python’s musical “Spamalot” on the stage of Musical Theatre in Gdynia,
Poland.
Darina performed alto part in "Requiem" by W.A.Mozart
with Warsaw/Lublin Orchestra and Lublin Musical Theatre Choir.
She also was invited to appear solo
in "Requiem" with P. Radzinski's
"Accademia dell Arco" orchestra and Algemeen Zang Koor Maartensijk from Holland in 2007 during the
Festival Palucka Wiosna Muzyczna.
She was inaugurating this Festival with solo recital of the M. Minkov's
"Crying Of The Guitar" series.
In March-May 2006
she was a participant of the master classes, provided by world-known
soprano singer Teresa Zylis-Gara. Darina performed during the final concert,
which main aim was to show special feature of Maestra'a singing technique.
Also in 2006 she was delegated to represent Music Academy in Bydgoszcz
during the IV International Master Class "Baroque Music" provided by Maestro
Paul Esswood in Florence, Italy.
Darina received Diploma of acting art with the
distinction of Music Academy in Bydgoszcz, Poland. In 2003-2005 she took
part in national "Polish Theatre" performances, such as "The Tragedy of Kind
Richard the III" by W. Shakespeare, "Auto da Compadecida" ("Testamony Of a
Dog") by A. Suassuna, Bydgoszcz, Poland. In 2003/2004 she performed as a
soloist - vocal/dance - with the Contemporary Dance Theatre, Wroclaw,
Poland.
In 2006 Darina won Grand Prix on the VII All-Polish Art
Song Interpretation Festival, Bydgoszcz, Poland. The same year she received
1st Distinction on the 42 Students Festival of the Song, Cracow, Poland;
Honorable Distinction of the 27th Acting Song Preview "New Situations",
Wroclaw, Poland.
In 1997 she won Grand Prix on the Festival of Polish
Song in Zhytomir, Ukraine. In 1997 she performed during International Music
Festival "Malwy", Biala Podlaska, Poland. In 1996 she won "MTV Summer
Festival" singing competition in Kiev, Ukraine / London, England.
