Sid
Ramchander
21 year-old Sid is very much a Gulf
Pianist who moved on to study Music in Europe at the age of
16. As a young prodigy and winner of the Young Musicians of
the Gulf Award in 2008, Sid chose a career as a Soloist,
enrolling at Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels where he has
been a student for the past 4 years under Prof Aleksander
Madzar and is currently doing his Master's Degree. A
student of Evgeny Moguilevsky since he was 13, Sid went on to
study privately under Eugen Indjic since 2009. Sid regularly
attends master classes in Europe and has been tutored by Prof.
Andrzej Jasiñski and the late Karl-Heinz Kämmerling. He has
performed in concerts in France, Italy, Germany, Austria,
Spain and Bahrain and has been counted among the youngest
entrants in prestigious international music competitions.
A familiar face in Bahrain, Sid's first performance as a
Soloist with Orchestra was when he was 13, at Bahrain's
illustrious Festival of Culture, with the visiting Minsk Youth
Orchestra, under Conductor Vladimir Perlin. Performing in
Kuwait is an opportunity that Sid greatly looks forward to
showcase his talent as one of the recognized pianists from the
Gulf region.
