Leading members of Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra Join forces
to bring you the highest quality musical performance. Most
members of the Orchestra are winners of international
competitions holding previously positions in some of the
best ensembles across the globe.
Qatar Philharmonic was created to enhance community and
culture within Qatar and throughout the Region, while
bringing a message of peace to the world via the union of
eastern and western music. By installing musical culture
locally and internationally, Qatar Philharmonic will build
bridges through the presentation of a unique combination of
Arabic and Western music that speaks purely to the souls,
the only language capable of creating an environment of
peace and love.
With musical greetings and wishes are coming to us musicians
from Gulf and Europe. The Opening Gala on Friday, March 11
will be performed by group of outstanding soloists from
Qatar Philharmonic – Qatar Classical Ensemble. It contains
from world class instrumentalists from many countries as UK,
Russia,
Germany,
Austria,
Hungary,
Egypt etc.
Ensemble was created to build musicals culture in Qatar, the
Region and to contact them with entire cultural world. The
Philharmonic 101 members were carefully chosen from 3000
applications. Nothing to wonder that Qatar Philharmonic
plays under such masters as Loren Mazel, who was directing
many years of New York Philharmonic among others! They
performed already on prestigious stages with London on the
top. They will present to Kuwaiti audience program since
late Romantics till wonderful arrangement of Polkas and
Waltzes from 19th Century Viennese Salon.
